Once you’ve tasted homegrown organically produced vegetables, you don’t want to make do with anything else. Most of the vegetables served at Winteringham Fields are grown in our own gardens, by enthusiastic local gardeners with centuries of country lore to guide them.
Apart from potatoes with real flavour and texture, we also grow our own beans, celery, onions, mushrooms, shallots, courgettes, sweet corn, pumpkins, tomatoes and many others. To say nothing of our own fresh-grown herbs such as basil, parsley and thyme!
