All Stranger Things seasons are ranked

Probably the most talked about show in recent days, Stranger Things broke another Netflix record with the newest season, as it aired for a total of 286.79 million hours on its opening weekend. The platform has announced the top 10 most watched TV series in English for the week of May 23-May 29. Not only did Stranger Things make it into the top 10 all seasons, but the show broke the record for Season 2 Bridgerton, which was viewed for 193 million hours on its opening weekend in March.

Now, in addition to breaking records, season 4 is considered the best season of the series, according to many fans. That being said, many fans still believe in the reign of Season 1 and say that Season 4 could not surpass its greatness either. We present our own opinion about all the seasons of the show, ranked from best to worst.

1. Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1

Stranger Things Season 4

This may be controversial, but Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 is the best season of the series, even though the last 2 episodes have not yet been released. This can be attributed mainly to this season’s villain, Vecna, an antagonist who has a background story. Don’t get me wrong, Demogorgon is scary and Mind Flayer and more, but it wasn’t easy to understand their motives. Demogorgon, one, looks like a monster who likes to eat human flesh, and that’s it. But Vecna and his connection with kid Creel and the subject of text 001 felt fresh and unique.

Another significant aspect of this season is the introduction of new characters such as Eddie, Argyle and Jason, who seemed to fit perfectly into the story. In particular, Argyle was one of the best things about the California story, with its nonsense and weird versions. Eddie seemed like a charm to me from the first moment I saw him, which turned out to be right for the rest of the season.

2. Stranger Things Season 1

The second best season of the series is Season 1, which had its own magic. Both the D&D gang and the public didn’t know what was going on when Will got lost. So everyone, including the characters and the audience, went blind, solving the mystery with the characters as the series unfolded. On the other hand, in the following seasons, we all had enough information about Upside Down and the lab to guess the reasons behind the events. This was impossible in season 1. That’s why it had magic that couldn’t be replicated in the following seasons.

We also like Season 1 because it showed the best character arc of the series, Steve’s. He started the show as a bully who went to great lengths after Jonathan lost his brother Will. We all tried to get Nancy to break up with him and be with Jonathan. However, towards the end of the season, Steve realized what a villain he had been, apologized to Nancy and Jonathan, and joined them in their fight against the Demogorgon. This is probably the reason why she became one of the most appreciated and excellent babysitters of the whole show.

3. Stranger Things Season 2

Now, the thing about season 2 is that it has one of the best and worst episodes of all seasons. Season 2 finale, called “The Gate”, is a candidate to be the best episode of the series. It has everything we need, the love (between Mike and Eleven), the action and the sincere moments between a father and his daughter (Hopper and Eleven, who else could we talk about?). That being said, Season 2 also has the worst episode of the entire show called “The Lost Sister,” in which Eleven goes to Chicago to see another girl who has also been experimented with in the lab.

Although it was funny and invigorating to watch Eleven become a goth, the episode was useless and useless because it added almost nothing to the story.

4. Stranger Things Season 3

Stranger Things Season 3

We released season 3 on the last spot because this season seems more like a comedy series than a fantasy drama that is supposed to be. Also, despite being scary, Mind Flayer feels like another monster who has sworn to end humanity, but we never get to hear why. As we see in Stranger Things Season 4, the show could be more substantial if the monster appeared for something, rather than being determined to conquer the world.
