E3 may not be taking place this year, but there will be many other gaming events in its place. Geoff Keighley has already announced plans for Summer Game Fest as a replacement for this year’s E3, and now Keighley has revealed the full list of studios and publishers to make announcements during its stream.
Sony recently confirmed that its upcoming State of Play stream this week is now part of the Summer Game Fest. Furthermore, Keighley has another 30 editors in a rowincluding: 2K, Activision, Atlus, Bandai Namco, Bloober Team, Capcom, Coffee Stain, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Digital Extremes, Dotemu, EA, Epic Games, Focus Entertainment, Frost Giant Studios, Level Infinite, Mediatonic, miHoYo, Netflix , PlayStation, Raw Fury, Samsung, Sega, Square Enix, Skybound Games, Steam, MDHR Studio, Tribecca Festival, Warner Bros. Games and Xbox.
There are some inclusions expected here, as well as some surprises. Xbox, for example, will be part of Summer Game Fest in some form, indicating that it has more to announce than it will be able to show during its Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on June 12th. Steam is also a weird inclusion, and it’s worth noting that it specifically writes Steam and not Valve, so don’t expect a major new announcement from Valve.
Summer Game Fest will include a number of feeds, so some publishers, such as Sony with State of Play this week, will have their own dedicated feeds in partnership with Summer Game Fest. Keighley himself will also host a large, multi-publisher presentation event on June 9 at 7:00 p.m. BST.
