Update (31/5/22): A relatively unknown source came to the fore yesterday with a leak of next month’s PS Plus games. Today, the trio of service-oriented games have now been corroborated by none other than Dealabs - the French retailer that routinely reveals early games.
So God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl are almost confirmed right now. Again, the retail site has successfully skipped the PS Plus range many, many times before, so with a backup of the previous source, it’s basically a lock.
Original story: Another month, another PS Plus leaks - or so it would seem. This latest leak does not come from the usual source - in fact, the Spanish site Areajugones has the information and they were right with at least one PS Plus leak in the past (strangely, it was the games for June 2021).
So, without further ado, here are the three games we should be receiving by June 2022:
Strange month if true, isn’t it? The God of War is clearly the tough player here, but right now, who does not have did he play with the much-loved rebirth of Kratos? It is also set to be part of PS Plus Extra level and is already included with PS Plus collection on the PS5, which obviously decreases its perceived value. But maybe the moment is what matters. The anticipated sequel to God of War Ragnarok is still slated to be released this year, so is Sony could try to get more people on board the hype train. May be is there a confirmed release date? Hmmm.
Elsewhere, Naruto to Boruto is very much a multiplayer-focused title, in which two ninja teams fight in animated stages. It’s a solid enough game in our experience, but we’re not sure mainstream subscribers will appreciate its inclusion.
And the same could probably be said of the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. In all respects, a decent Smash Bros.-style brawler, but has struggled to maintain any momentum since its launch in October last year. It’s the kind of multiplayer-focused title game we see on PS Plus these days.
