The Fortnite Collision event concludes Chapter 3 Season 2 with Epic Mech Battle

Fortnite’s latest live event, Collision, ended Chapter 3 Season 2 with an extraordinary mechanical combat sequence. The 15-minute game saw teams of four - this author teamed up with football star Neymar Jr. and Obi-Wan Kenobi - helped command a mechanic, who was tasked with knocking down Collider - a monument that fans they will already be familiar with the island.

Although they were mostly scenarios, the production values ​​of this unique sequence were absolutely wild. Players were tasked with eliminating tanks, rival cars, and incoming missiles - before being thrown underground for a final battle with Slone. Here, both the Jones series mascot and the Foundation - with the voice of The Rock - have been tagged to help.

Fortnite is offline now until the arrival of the new season, which is rumored to include characters such as Darth Vader, who was currently teased during the event. Meanwhile, the game emits some procedurally generated lo-fi rhythms, powered by Unreal Engine. Then we’ll do it all over again tomorrow, with the start of a new season.
